Organic– Mother’s favourite

A big hi & welcome to all! So, I’m hoping that a lot of you have gone out into the market and managed to grab for yourselves some organic fashion clothing. I’d love to hear about your experiences as would everyone reading this, so come on and share.

In this post, I thought, we should return to our primary message – of eating healthy & organic. And this one in particular, goes out to all the parents out there. Here’s why you should ensure that your children, more than anyone else, must be made to eat organic.

Now what do kids love the most? Easy! Burgers & pizzas. Any fast food, for that matter, is a child’s favorite thing to eat. When us adults can’t resist it, how can we blame our kids? But the fact remains that it is these fatty, processed burgers & pizzas, that are the most harmful to children’s health among all other conventional foods out there. It is almost like feeding them poison! From the processed and chemical-filled burger patties to the heavily fried fries, they are all harmful. Take a look at the video I’ve found about the exact ingredients of a fast-food burger and you’ll be shocked! It is the worst thing to give a child.

Well, help is at hand. Children are impressionable and giving them the wrong food may cause irreparable damage. By that same token, if they are inculcated into an organic way of life early, children can easily adopt a healthy lifestyle forever. The trick is to make things interesting and involving them in the process.

So, all moms & dads, sample the other video I’ve found to see how you can make organic food fun for your kids and in the process, make it a way of life for them. It is clever, convenient, fun, and healthy for all. By taking your children shopping with you, moms can explain the real benefits of organic food vs. conventional food on the spot. Better still, include the children in the cooking. It makes learning fun and the activity productive. Also, kids feel they have a say in matters.

Dads must lead by example. Be sure that you are seen by your kids having that big juicy organic apple, rather than chugging down beer with your colleagues. On your days off, you too can take your kids organic shopping. Better still, take them out into the wilderness. Go camping, rafting – anything that will connect your children with the rustic charm of nature. Make them feel, breathe, and live nature’s magnificence.


Children need two things most – exposure & nutrition. By exposing them at a young age to nature will obviously be more beneficial than having them play video games. They’ll build a strong bond with nature and with everything natural. Similarly, nutritionally, the best foods for kids ought to be raw, pure and organic. Children need to build a strong immunity to fight pollution, disease, hereditary conditions, and other harmful things. And the best way to do that is by eating natural foods.

As parents, our first priority is to ensure a safe and healthy future for our children. And that can only happen if our children are themselves healthy and active citizens. So moms & dads, make organic your favorite and your kids’ favorite too!
